==Origin of Name==

[[Carl Bird]], who was a member of the band when it was called "Varios Barrios", found himself in over his head, as all of the other members were serious musicians and Bird has questionable musical skills at best. Ramón "Matador" Villaseñor, lead guitarist, who has reportedly referred to Bird as both a "pendejo" and an "assclown", tried to make Bird learn at least one song all the way through. Bird, who has a very limited understanding of Spanish despite trying to join a Spanish-language band, told Villaseñor:
